Since you're here, reading this article, I suggest you stop for a second and ask yourself: How do you feel about your life? Are you living up to your full potential? Do you try enough to fulfill your dreams, or are you just wasting your precious, yet, fleeting time?

Living a life is a complex and multifaceted experience that encompasses all aspects of our existence, from our relationships and careers to our personal growth and sense of purpose. Sometimes life can be an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience, but other times, it can be a challenge to navigate. There are so many external or internal factors that may interfere with the direction of our lives. The thing is that we can’t control all the bad things that happen, but we’re capable of choosing our attitude towards them. We can control how we will respond to certain difficulties that we face from time to time.

Choices are a fundamental part of life.

One of the key things to understand about choices is that they carry consequences. Every choice we make has the potential to impact our lives and those of others, for better or for worse. This means that it is important to approach choices with care and consideration, taking the time to weigh up the pros and cons of different options and considering the potential outcomes of each decision.

Do you often find yourself asking yourself “What the heck am I doing?”. Chances are you do. Sometimes it can be difficult to know where you’re headed and what your purpose is. You may find yourself overwhelmed by external factors such as social media, fake people around, stress and etc. It’s critical to resist pressure and make decisions that are true to yourself, that are congruent with your personality, and don’t let anything or anyone change you for the worse.

You should not put your grace at stake!

Sometimes we may be prompted to stop giving a damn about anything, forget about being aware, and indulge ourselves in doing things that are detrimental and may bring catastrophic consequences. That’s exactly the point where many people lose their true, genuine selves. The key to preventing this from happening is to stay awake and don’t go in too deep into this kind of unhealthy thinking pattern. The choices reflect our values and priorities. They are reflections of what we believe in and what is important to us. It is therefore important to regularly reflect on our choices and consider if they align with our values and priorities.

"Pursue What is Meaningful (Not What is Expedient)"

Jordan Peterson's "Rule 7" is part of his "12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos" philosophy.
In brief, Rule 7 states "Pursue what is meaningful (not what is expedient)."

He encourages people to focus on finding and pursuing a path in life that is driven by their deepest values, passions, and aspirations, rather than simply seeking what is easiest or most convenient. This requires a willingness to put in hard work and make sacrifices in order to pursue a more meaningful life, rather than simply going through the motions or settling for a life that is merely comfortable or safe.

By following this rule, Peterson argues, individuals can find greater fulfillment, happiness, and purpose in their lives, and can develop a sense of self-respect and dignity that comes from living in accordance with their true values and priorities. This can lead to a greater sense of meaning and satisfaction in life, as well as a stronger sense of personal identity and connection to something larger than oneself.

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.
